Dermal use

Means application on the external skin only. 

It can include application to the:

• skin on the body and face (for example, body or face lotion)
• outer skin of the eyelids near the eyes (for example, eyeshadow and eyeliner)
• eyelashes (for example, mascara)
• around the eyes (for example, eye cream).

It does not include applications:

• inside the eyes (for example, on the eyeball)
• inside the mouth or the oral cavity which includes the inner lining or mucosa
• on the teeth.
