Executive Director

AICIS is led by an Executive Director. This is a statutory appointment made by the Governor General. The Executive Director oversees regulating the introduction (manufacture or import) of industrial chemicals in Australia. The Executive Director has decision making and enforcement powers under the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 and responsibility for administering this Act.
