2024-25 AICIS fees and charges
From 1 September 2024, AICIS fees and charges to industrial chemical introducers will change, along with introduction value thresholds across most registration levels.

All AICIS fees for services will increase by 3.1%. These increases factor in inflationary cost drivers – read more in the 2024-25 AICIS Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS).

Changes to registration charges and introduction value thresholds
Adjustments to charges and introduction value thresholds across most registration levels will also take effect. If you import or manufacture less than $15 million worth of industrial chemicals, your charges will either stay the same or decrease.

The changes come after the Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care approved the (CRIS). The CRIS transparently shows how AICIS fees and charges comply with the government cost-recovery framework. It also provides financial forecasts while outlining the need to align AICIS fees and charges with the resources and effort needed to complete various business processes and activities.
