ID | Subject of Evaluation | Public comment received | Public consultation outcome | Evaluation outcome |
---|---|---|---|---|
EVA00105 | Water-soluble zinc salts | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
EVA00126 | 2-Ethylhexyl phosphates | No | - | Proposal to vary terms of the inventory |
EVA00130 | Acrylates and methacrylates based on bisphenol A (BPA) | No | - | Recommendation to regulatory body (public health); Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00131 | Alkoxysilane ethylenediamine and polyamine derivatives | Yes - Hazard information | A variation to the evaluation was required. The new information did not result in a change to the hazard classification recommendations but the reasons for the recommended classifications for skin irritation and specific target organ toxicity following repeated exposure have been clarified in the report. | Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00135 | Benzenesulfonic acid, dodecyl-, compound with 4,4-dimethyloxazolidine (1:1) | No | - | Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00136 | Benzoic acid, 2-hydroxy-, methyl ester (methyl salicylate) | No | - | Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00141 | Cyanoacrylates | No | - | Recommendation to regulatory body (public health); Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00143 | Environmental fate and effects of zinc ions | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
EVA00146 | Medium and long chain alkyl sulfates | No | - | Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00150 | Salicylic acid and its salts | Yes - Hazard information; Weight of evidence | A variation to the evaluation was required. Previously unidentified information relating to acute toxicity in algae has now been included in the report. The change in data resulted in the recommended classification for acute aquatic toxicity being removed. The information relating to human health reproductive toxicity did not result in a change to the hazard classification recommendation. | Recommendation to regulatory body (public health); Recommendation to regulatory body (workers); Information relating to safe introduction and use |
EVA00154 | Hexamine and related chemicals | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
EVA00155 | Chemicals that are unlikely to require further regulation to manage risks to environment | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
EVA00156 | Chemicals that are unlikely to require further regulation to manage risks to human health | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
EVA00157 | Chemicals not considered for in depth evaluation – Not commercially active in Australia | No | - | No new means of managing risk are proposed |
