This decision tool is related to step 5.2 of the process to categorise your chemical introduction.

Who should use this?
Use this decision tool if your chemical has been assessed overseas and you need help working out if your introduction is accepted by AICIS as internationally assessed for the environment. It steps you through the criteria described in the guide for categorising introductions as internationally assessed for the environment. If it meets the criteria, your introduction’s indicative risk to the environment is low. If you don't have an overseas assessment, you should complete Decision tool – Work out your environment exposure band. There are 1‐11 questions depending on your circumstances.
