Polymer

means a chemical that consists of molecules that:

  • are characterised by the sequence of one or more types of monomer units; and
  • are distributed over a range of molecular weights where the difference in molecular weights is primarily attributable to differences in the number of monomer units; and
  • greater than 50% by weight of which have a sequence of at least 3 monomer units covalently bound to at least one other:
    • monomer unit; or
    •  molecule that is linked to one or more sequences of monomer units but cannot, under the conditions of the relevant reaction used for the particular process of polymer formation, become a repeating unit in the polymer structure.
