We’ll open registration in our Business Services portal about mid-August for the next AICIS registration year (1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024).
If you're a business (including sole traders and individuals) who will import or manufacture industrial chemicals – and/or certain products intended to release industrial chemicals – for commercial purposes after 31 August 2023. It’s an offence under the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 to introduce an industrial chemical when you don't have an active registration.
Now is a good time to check this. You can check and update details such as contact name and email address by signing into your AICIS Business Services account. You should also check that your business address, postal address and trading name are correct. If you haven’t signed in for a while, you may need to reset your password.
Passwords expire every 3 months, to protect information you have given us, so you may need to reset your password using your username. Your password must be a minimum of 14 characters.
If you haven't received an email, please allow up to 30 minutes and also check your spam or junk mailbox.
Let us know and we will stop sending you renewal and reminder emails. Find out how to 'advise of non-renewal'.
You’ll need to know the value of the industrial chemicals you imported or manufactured during the previous financial year (1 July 2022-30 June 2023).
As a guide to determining the value of your chemicals, you could use relevant commercial documents such as commercial invoices, orders or confirmations, airway bills, insurance certificates or receipts for purchase of goods.
