It's time to renew your AICIS registration for 2024-25

Registration is now open in our Business Services portal for the upcoming AICIS registration year (1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025).

Who will need to register with AICIS for 2024-25?

You’ll need to register from 1 September 2024 if you plan to import or manufacture industrial chemicals for commercial purposes in the upcoming 2024-2025 registration year. This includes:

  • sole traders and individuals
  • anyone manufacturing or importing containers or products that release industrial chemicals – see our list of product descriptions and examples

It’s an offence under the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 to introduce an industrial chemical when you don't have an active registration.
