Evaluation statement

A report that AICIS publishes after completing an evaluation of an industrial chemical being used in Australia, or related to such chemicals. An evaluation is initiated by the Executive Director of AICIS.

The evaluation statement includes information on:

• the subject of the evaluation
• the conclusions of the evaluation
• the defined scope or parameters of the evaluation
• summary of the evaluation and any risks to human health or the environment
• the proposed means for managing risks including:
• any risk management recommendations relating to the introduction and use of the chemical
• any regulatory obligations such as a condition of introduction or use or requirement to provide information
