You must submit a PID for 2023-24 if you introduced a chemical for the first time between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024 under certain exempted categories.
A new version of the Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines will be published on 24 September 2024. The guidelines set out the technical details and requirements that introducers need to categorise industrial chemical introductions in Australia.
From 1 September 2024, AICIS fees and charges to industrial chemical introducers will change, along with introduction value thresholds across most registration levels.
